Antiques in Sussex
Based in Sussex, White’s Antiques serves customers locally as well as collectors, interior designers, private clients and trade customers throughout West Sussex, Sussex and across the UK.
Our location in Sussex is an important part of our business, but our reach extends much further. Our website allows customers throughout the UK to browse our latest stock and purchase selected pieces online, with delivery options available for larger items of antique furniture and other substantial pieces.
For customers who enjoy visiting an antique shop in Sussex, our collection provides the opportunity to see and appreciate pieces in person, while our online shop makes it possible to discover new stock wherever you are in the UK.
What We Sell
Our stock covers a broad range of antiques and decorative interiors, with an emphasis on furniture and pieces that bring character, history and individuality to a home.
Our collections include:
Our stock changes regularly, so there is always something new to discover.
From a large antique cabinet or console table to a small piece of kitchenalia or decorative object, we believe the most interesting interiors are created by combining pieces with character rather than following a single style.
Carefully Selected Antique Furniture
Antique furniture is at the heart of what we do.
We look for pieces with character, good design and the qualities that make antique furniture so appealing. Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and later pieces can all feature in our collection, alongside decorative and architectural items from a variety of periods and styles.
We appreciate the individuality of antique furniture. Natural ageing, signs of use and changes acquired over many years can all contribute to the character of a piece. Rather than looking for furniture that feels new, we look for pieces with a sense of history and personality.
Our online collection allows customers to explore individual pieces in detail, with photographs and descriptions designed to give you as much information as possible before making a purchase.
Antiques for Homes, Interiors & Trade
Our customers include private collectors, homeowners, interior designers, stylists, property professionals and members of the antiques and interiors trade.
Antique furniture and decorative antiques can work beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors. A Georgian chest can provide contrast in a modern room, while an architectural fragment, antique mirror or piece of garden statuary can become a distinctive focal point.
We also welcome trade enquiries. Our trade service is designed to give interior designers, decorators, stylists and other professional customers access to our stock and competitive trade pricing.

Buying Antiques Online
While visiting and viewing antiques in person will always have its appeal, buying antiques online makes it possible to discover unusual pieces from anywhere in the UK.
Our website is updated with new stock as pieces become available, giving customers the opportunity to browse our current collection from home.
Every antique is different, which is why we aim to provide detailed descriptions and clear photography to help you understand each piece before purchasing. If you have questions about an item, its dimensions, condition, history or delivery, our team is always happy to help.
Sourcing Interesting & Individual Pieces
We are continually looking for new stock to add to the collection. Rather than concentrating on a single period or style, we enjoy finding pieces that are interesting in their own right.
This could be an unusual antique cabinet, a beautifully aged console table, a pair of garden planters, an architectural feature or a small decorative object with an interesting history.
The constantly changing nature of antiques is part of what makes the business so enjoyable. Once a piece has sold, it may be impossible to find another quite like it.
