An exquisite Art Nouveau Le Gas/Mont Joye vase, hand-blown in deep purple glass and delicately enamel-painted with pansy flowers, later adapted as a bespoke lamp with our unique dual light system. This design allows the vase itself to illuminate from within, casting a gentle violet glow, while also functioning as a traditional table lamp from the bulb above. The result is a lamp of extraordinary presence and charm, radiating both colour and craftsmanship.
A true one-off, this piece captures the refined artistry of early 20th-century French glasswork combined with modern lighting ingenuity.

Brief Historical Note
Mont Joye was a tradename used by E. S. Mont, its successors, and Le Gas & Cie for cameo and enamel, painted glass made between the 1880s and 1920s. This name was among France’s most celebrated Art Nouveau glassmakers, and their work is renowned for hand-blown coloured glass, often richly decorated with enamel-painted botanical motifs, especially pansies - symbols of remembrance and affection in fin-de-siècle design. These pieces epitomised the Art Nouveau movement’s devotion to natural forms and fine craftsmanship. Adapted with a modern dual-lighting system, this lamp continues that tradition, transforming a historic work of art into a functional and atmospheric centrepiece.
A rare and captivating Le Gas/Mont Joye lamp, uniting early 20th-century French artistry with contemporary elegance - glowing proof of timeless design.
